Duende Confusion Cajon

The Duende Confusion cajon really is two instruments in one. It features two different frontplates with varying string systems for two completely different sounds. While the body is made of okoume, the frontplates are made of different types of wood. One is made of zebrano and has a single string behind it that's affixed in a V-shape which allows for a more classic tone and an overall balanced sound. Turn the cajon around, and you'll find another frontplate made of pine, featuring a CL-2 string mechanism with two individually adjustable strings arranged in a V-shape. This gives the cajon a more powerful sound with emphasised highs and lows.

Duende Confusion: versatile

Due to its two different frontplates, the Confusion cajon can handle a wide variety of genres. It's great for providing accompaniment in music, but will manage equally well in an acoustic pop setting. The Confusion is essentially two very different cajons for the price of one. Of course, as with all Duende cajons, the Confusion is hand-crafted in Spain.
