General
The fact that Marshall make amplifiers shouldn't really come as a surprise to anybody. That they also make speakers for home use is perhaps less well known, however. Now, there's also the Marshall Stockwell, a new portable speaker equipped with Bluetooth functionality and delivered complete with a case. Despite its modest 26 x 14 x 14 cm dimensions, it produces a big sound. It looks very much like a vintage Marshall amp and has three knobs for volume, bass and treble so that you can customise your sound to perfection.
Portable
With an aux input on board, you can connect any external music player, even if doesn't have Bluetooth, using a mini-jack audio cable. If your device does have Bluetooth, you can stream music directly to the speaker without using a cable. Believe it or not, the Stockwell is capable of streaming music for around 25 hours! If you're using your phone to play music and you get a call, you can simply answer it via the Stockwell too. If you're audio device is running out of juice, you can charge it via the Stockwell's USB port on the back.
Stylish
The black case that comes with the speaker is almost as stylish as the speaker itself and will keep it safe when you're not using it. Of course, the Marshall Stockwell has a great sound to go with its good looks.
