Nowadays, it's possible to listen to your favourite music on your phone while you're at the beach. Normally, you would use headphones, but with a portable speaker you can give your ears a rest. The popular Pill series by Beats comprises such speakers, available in the widest range of colours. Beats By Dre now have a new line-up, including the Pill 2.0 white mobile pocket speaker. This speaker has the same features as its predecessors which means a big sound in a compact size, streamlining via Bluetooth and a battery life of approximately seven hours.
The Pill 2.0: what's new
Thanks to NFC (Near Field Connection), pairing your smartphone to the Pill 2.0 is child's play: simply tap the two together and you have a connection. You can even tap two Pill 2.0 speakers and they will play the same audio source, meaning an even more powerful sound. When you tap them twice, one Pill 2.0 will play the left signal while the other one will play the right signal. Because the Pill 2.0 features an integrated microphone, you can also use it for phone calls. Another nice feature is that you can use the battery for charging your phone via USB (if there's energy left).
