General

If you regularly work with different configurations of the Sennheiser D1 system, this SD D1 transmitter is perfect, as it allows you to use your lavalier microphone or guitar wirelessly. It also makes for an ideal spare transmitter, which you should really always have in large productions for quick replacements. This SD D1 features a 3.5mm jack input, to which you can easily connect a microphone. It can be powered with two AA batteries, or a separately available BA-30 battery by Sennheiser.

Sennheiser SD D1: 2.4 GHz-system

Contrary to other, conventional wireless systems, the D1 system uses the 2.4GHz band, so that you won't be bothered by the legal changes around frequency ranges, as the 2.4GHz band can be used freely throughout the whole of Europe. Setting up frequencies is a piece of cake, and it has a frequency range of 40 Hz - 20 kHz. The extensive range also allows you to use your bass guitar wirelessly, without having to compromise on quality.
