General

The Lehle RMI Basswitch IQ DI is a bass guitar preamplifier designed by Ruppert Musical Instruments and made by the renowned Lehle company. This DI box, booster, switcher and equalizer combo functions as an extremely reliable, practical and versatile control centre for your pedalboard. It allows you to connect your effects, one or two bass guitars, your amplifier and a mixer. The controls and footswitches allow you to rapidly switch settings.

RMI Basswitch IQ DI: Connectors

Connect, for example, two electric bass guitars to the RMI Basswitch IQ DI, or an active electric bass and an acoustic double bass with piezo pickup. Switch between instruments with the A/B footswitch. In the Send/Return connectors of the Serial loop you can plug in fixed pedals, including your compressor, and in the switchable Mix loop you can house effects like distortion and chorus. You can switch these second line of effects on or off with the Mix-loop footswitch.

The Expansive Basswitch Preamplifier

Accurately tune the tone and volume of your bass guitar with the 4-band equalizer and the gain knob (Volume). Additionally, you can adjust the volume of the Mix loop, as well as the Send level to the Mix loop. Thanks to the Basswitch's XLR output, you can naturally also use this extensive preamp as a full-fledged DI box that allows you to send the signal to a mixer, whether live or in the studio. At the same time, you can send the signal via the line output to your bass amplifier.

Must-have voor elke bassist. Moeiteloos wisselen tussen basgitaar, contrabas en synth, alles over één amp (ipv de synth over de PA). Zelfs als ik alleen basgitaar speel zet ik hem er tussen, geeft veel extra energie aan het geluid.
