General
Ashdown's Origin Valve Pre-DI is an electric bass guitar pedal equipped with a 12AX7 for unadulterated tube overdrive. It can be connected directly to a mixer or PA via the balanced XLR output which means you can get a true bass sound even without an amplifier! There's a jack output on board too and also a ground lift button to eliminate any problems with interference. Via the comprehensive controls, you have everything you need to shape your sound to perfection.

There's a 5-band EQ, but the real star of the show is the Valve Drive, of course. The 12AX7 tube produces a full, warm sound with everything from a light edge to a serious shred depending on the pedal's settings. Pressing the Showtime footswitch gives you instant mid-scooped EQ settings that will fit into any mix. If you want tube overdrive in a compact package, then the Ashdown Origin Valve Pre-DI could be the bass pedal for you.
