The Aguilar Octamizer is built to lay down a thick, ground-shaking layer that sits an entire octave below your original pitch. This multi-sided bass effect provides independent volume and tone controls for the clean and effected signal, so that all-important sweet spot can be found with ease.

The Aguilar Octamizer: Flexible Tone

The clean channel tone control uses a broadband Tilt EQ that can boost the high-end while filtering the low - or the other way around, while the Filter pot for the octave effect shapes deep and smooth tone and can be pushed for a little more aggression around the edges. The unique circuit of the Aguilar Octamizer gives you the power to balance the clean sound with the octave for a classic doubling effect, or weave a satisfyingly deep, thick and almost synth like growl.

Reworked and Even Smaller Housing

Somehow, Aguilar have managed to compress the dimensions of this pedal by reducing the edges (see the clip included under the Videos tab). Since the edges have been shortened, right-angled jacks can be used with ease and no matter the format. The base of the casing has also been flattened to make mounting this stompbox to your pedalboard a much simpler matter.
