General
Every bass player looks for a deep, organic sound. Aguilar's Octamizer allows you to create a wide range of musical sounds that are an octave below your original tone. This versatile octaver effect for bass guitars has numerous volume controls for clean and octave. You can, for instance, set the right amount of effect (octave down) and dry (clean) sound. The two separate signals each have their own tone control, so you can further exploit their musical possibilities.
Aguilar Octamizer: versatile tone controls
The tone control for the clean uses a broadband Tilt EQ that allows you to boost the trebles while the bass is filtered, or the other way around. The filter control for the octave effect is a multi-pole low-pass filter that enables you to shape the overall tone of the octave sound from deep and smooth to aggressive and edgy. The unique circuit of the Aguilar Octamizer allows you to create a clean sound with an octave-blinding effect, or blend sounds for a big, synth-like sound.
Renewed, smaller housing
Aguilar downsized their pedals by removing their protruding edges (see the video), allowing you to use any size angled jack plug. What's more, thanks to its new flat bottom it is now easier than ever before to mount the pedal to your pedalboard.
