The Fender Jazz Bass is an instrument that appeals to the imagination. Its bass tones are excellent for fresh, neat grooves, slaps and solos. There are, of course, numerous ways to adjust the sound of your instrument to your liking, one of which is replacing the standard pickups with real Fender Custom Shop ones. This '60s Jazz Bass pickup set is an excellent way to make your bass guitar sound better without overspending.
Fender Custom Shop Custom '60s Jazz Bass Pickups
This set consists of two Custom Shop pickups. The alnico 5 magnets and Formvar coil, together with the overwound design, deliver an enormous punch and plenty of output. Dynamically, these pickups increase your reach, making your playing sound even more expressive. One thing is for sure, these pickups will really pep up your Jazz Bass. If you're a bit handy, you'll have these pickups mounted within an hour. This set includes mounting materials.

Le micros d'origine sonnaient pas si mal mais avec trop de basse à mon goût.
Mais là, c'est le jour et la nuit !!!
ça sonne superbement bien, comme je le souhaitai, bien plus net avec ce petit crunch quand on commence à gratter un peu plus méchamment, ils sont vraiment bien équilibrés entre les basses,les médiums et les aigus, c'est un régale !!!
Je ne ferai pas de comparatif avec d'autres marque car c'est la première fois que je 'update' une basse.
Quand on sait pense que ces micros sont installés sur des modèles Custom Shop à 3/4000... Et que pour ~160 et un fer à souder on peut les mettre sur n'importe quelle JB... là j'ai une Jaguar bass "CustomShop" Japan deluxe !!! ;)
Bref le son Fender qu'on est en droit d'attendre !!!

Friday 28 August 2015Fender recently announced a number of new mandolins: the Concert Tone Mando Pack , Concert Tone FM52E , Concert Tone FM53S , Concert Tone FM63S and the Concert Tone FM63SE . The 53 series features the well-known classic teardrop shape, while the 63 series consists of gorgeous Baroque style mandolins. Furthermore, the E at the end of certain type numbers stands for 'electric', which means that besides the fully acoustic models, there are also electrical models available.
