General

Ashdown have squeezed bass distortion and overdrive into the tight form of the Triple Shot stompbox then gifted it with detailed overdrive control. Six control pots have been lined up on the control panel and given apt coffee-themed names like Dark, Medium, and Light - these can be used to tweak the low, mid, and high range overdrive to fully shape your newly, highly caffeinated tone and, naturally, the Roast pot is provided to blend in a distorted edge. This range gives you the option of creating a low-range tone with a sweet mountain of distortion or a high range tone with a nice thin layer of distortion.

The Ashdown Triple Shot: Controlled Distortion

More bass distortion pedals than we would ever care to mention tend to lack any detailed overdrive control, so that the further you push the drive, the worse your tone gets. Here, Ashdown have sensitively developed a pedal that's able to withstand high levels of overdrive without compromising on the quality of tone, and as such, the Triple Shot doesn't just offer tonal controls but the power to fully shape the character of your sound, no matter how distorted.
