General

Finally there's a bass/keyboard chorus pedal that offers a supersized stereo chorus without sacrificing the bass! The Behringer BUC400 offers a warm, rich chorus that only comes through in the higher frequencies of your signal, so your low frequencies keep their punch and definition.

What's the secret? This pedal makes use of the unique shape control, which allows you to choose the degree to which the low frequency content will influence the chorus. It works kind of like a crossover circuit, so your lows stay full and tight, while you still get an unbelievable high-end shimmer. The level control is used to either increase or decrease the BUC400's output, and the rate and depth settings adjust the speed and fullness of the chorus effect.

Behringer has also added a handy LED power/battery level indicator, so if you're using a 9V battery instead of a DC adapter, you know when it's starting to run low. Finally, a first-rate on/off switch has been integrated for absolutely noise-free operation.

Ik beschrijf deze kleine chorus monster als een geslaagde aankoop voor zo'n lage prijs.
Kwalitatief is hij zeker, met de toon regelaars: rate cut/flat en depth kun je met je basgitaar de derde dementie in duiken.
Elke basgitaar geeft dit pedaaltje een ander karakteristiek geluid

Goed klinkend apparaat, dat zoals de beschrijving al aangeeft je laag niet verpest. De crossoverfrequentie is via een knop instelbaar, en mits goed ingesteld, is dit apparaat ook bruikbaar bij normale baspartijen zonder dat je fundament verdwijnt.

Geeft iets achtergrond geruis (gesweep) als hij aanstaat bij heel hoge volumes. Door de Level knop niet te hoog te zetten vermijd je dit.

Voor 't geld absoluut een tof effectpedaal!
