Boasting the balanced sound of a J-style sing-coil alongside the tightened up attack and boosted output of an overwound coil, the Seymour Duncan SJB-3B Quarter Pound Jazz Bass Bridge Pickup packs plenty of definition backed up by plenty of sustain. This Alnico 5 pickup basically drops that classic J-style bass sound but with more spice, and it's all courtesy of a hand-built design that's been wax-potted to ensure interference free performance. Replace the pup of any standard American J-style bass with this model and give your four-string a considerable upgrade.
