General
The Markbass Minimark 802 is an amp combo with two 8-inch woofers and a piezo tweeter. Hook up an electric bass guitar or use it for a faithful amplification of the sound of an acoustic bass guitar of double bass. The amplifier has plenty of power for practice sessions and small performances, and can also be expanded with an 8-ohm cabinet to conquer larger stages. Its 10 kilo weight and compact size make it an easy combo to bring anywhere.
The Extras of the MiniMark 802
With only two tone controls - the Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator and Variable Preshape Filter - you can bring forth a plethora of sounds from the delightfully focused, warm-sounding MiniMark 802. Some of its other practical options include the aux input (to play along to the playlist on your smartphone), the headphone connection (for quiet practising) and the XLR line output (to directly connect the bass signal to a mixer or audio interface).

Wanneer ik ga oefenen heb ik aan de 802 meer dan genoeg power in eer setting met piano, e-gitaar, drums en koor van 50 man (en vrouw) De tone is exact als de 121 maar iets met iets minder dB's.
Voor de wat grotere optredens zet ik de 121 achter mij en de 802 aan de zijkant voor wat meer podiumfill.
Krijg regelmatig de opmerking van de FOH man zet dat ding wat zachter.....dus......power zat!!
Ideale kwaliteits repetitie-amp met de geweldige Markbass Sound. Kopen die set!!
Ik heb voor bij de band een Fender Rumble 500 en ik heb ze vergeleken. De Rumble kan natuurlijk veel harder blazen maar op zacht niveau klinkt de Markbass net zo mooi. Zelfs de B snaar van een 5 snarige is geen probleem. Het klinkt ook zo volwassen.
Hij is duurder dan bv een Rumble 25 of 40 maar dat is het geluid zeker waard.
Aarzel niet om de prijs, je zal jaren genieten van een perfect geluid in de oefenruimte, het oefenen wordt een plezier met deze combo.
Ik gebruik Fender US Precision, G&L 2500, Musicman US Stingray 4 en Vintage Jazz met Fender customshop picks.
