The MB115-II by Gallien-Krueger is equipped with a 15-inch woofer, but thanks to its 23 x 19-inch cabinet, it is small enough to easily bring with you. Moreover, it weighs only 38 pounds thanks to its lightweight class-D amplifier. With regards to sound, the MB115-II is incredibly versatile thanks to Gallien-Krueger's highly musical and very user-friendly active 4-band EQ.

Gallien-Krueger MB115-II: boost and HF horn

Contrary to the MB110 and MB-112-II, the MB115-II is equipped with a tweeter for improved treble response. You can turn the HF horn on or off with a switch. Additionally, this versatile combo was fitted with a boost function that's modelled after GK's G.I.V.E. (Gate Induced Valve Effect) technology, to add a nice edge to the sound of your bass. There's also a limiter, to prevent power-stage distortion at higher volumes.

Combo with practical features

The Gallien-Krueger MB115-II combo has an aux input for an MP3 player or smartphone, so you can play along with your favourite music. It even offers a headphone connector for late-night practice sessions. Additionally, there's a DI output with pre/post EQ switch on the back, and a Chain output to connect an optional Gallien-Krueger MBP powered cabinet.
