General
The Ampeg BA-110 v2 is a portable 10-inch bass guitar amplifier combo with the classic Ampeg sound and a Bass Scrambler overdrive circuit. Compared to the previous version, it offers several notable improvements. It has better preamp and overdrive circuits, and its controls are now on the front. The housing has an angled side, so you can tilt back the combo to enjoy a more defined, more direct sound.
BA-110 v2: The Preamp and the Overdrive Circuit
You can minutely adjust the tight sound of the Ampeg BA-110 v2 via its extensive control options. Its Bass Scrambler overdrive circuit was designed to produce classic, tube-like distortion and offers separate controls for the drive and the mix. Additionally, the BA-110 v2 is equipped with an authentic Ampeg preamp with 3-band tone control. To make sure you can also adjust the sound on a dark stage, the front panel is backlit.
Versatile
This small, lightweight combo is perfect for use on the road - ideal for practice sessions and small gigs. Additionally, the BA-110 v2 has a headphone output so you can practise in silence. You can also play along with your favourite tunes, as the aux input lets you plug in your smartphone or MP3 player easily.

Voordeel van Bax-shop is dat je diverse versterkers kan vergelijken.
Zo heb ik de BA-110 V2 vergeleken (icm mijn Fender P bass met Flatwounds) met:
- Fender Rumble 40: Vond ik persoonlijk erg tegen vallen, vrij vlak geluid
- Gallien Krueger MB108: Klinkt erg goed voor een 8 inch alleen weinig instel mogelijkheden
- Ampeg mini stack; Mooi geluid alleen qua prijs een stuk duurder dan de BA110V2
Uiteindelijk gekozen voor de BA-110V2; Nog geen moment spijt van gehad. Ideaal om thuis te oefenen. Je kan er een computer/iphone of iPad op aansluiten (aux in) om mee te spelen met de muziek, het aux volume is instelbaar.
Kleine bascombo met een uitstekend (mooi vol) geluid !!
Hij is niet (heel) zwaar. Wat vooral te gek is is het overdrive circuit en de mogelijkheid deze naar believen te blenden met je cleane geluid. Ook handig is het tilt systeem waarmee je de versterker als monitor kunt opstellen. Aanrader, zeker voor oefenen thuis.
