General

Built to make carting your electric bass from lessons to rehearsals and gigs easier, the Gator Cases GB-4G-BASS gig bag offers the premium protection of a rip-stop nylon shell filled with 20mm-thick GFLEX padding and fitted with a smart internal shock absorber and neck support. This thoughtfully designed gig bag also features comfortable and fully adjustable shoulder straps so it can be carried backpack-style, while a strong handle has also been fitted on the side and back. Any spare strings, a strap, jack cables, patch leads and other accessories can be stashed away in the large front pocket which is zipped up by pulling on the handy pick-clip.

Stevige hoes, gewoon een prima ding! Het enige nadeel dat ik kan bedenken is dat de schouder riemen misschien beter iets hoger aan de hoes hadden kunnen zitten. Nu steekt de punt van de hoes flink boven je hoofd uit en moet je bukken om door een deur te kunnen lopen.

Geleverd in een idioot grote doos (Ik dacht dat ik iets verkeerds besteld had). Maar zo netjes als ze uit de doos kwam, zal ze niet lang blijven. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is geweldig. Ik heb een Musicman Stingray 5 die ruim in deze gigbag past. (Misschien zelfs te ruim) Maar dat mag de pret zeker niet drukken. Het rubberen handvat is erg comfortabel. Met een stevige grip. En de ritssluiting is bulky en stevig met een groot (hoe noem je zo'n ding?) om haar open te ritsen. En kan dus jaren mee. Het voorvak is ruim genoeg voor een gitaarsnoer en wat bladmuziek. Een leuk detail is de rits met (hoe noem je zo'n ding) dat meteen dienst doet als plectrumhouder. Aan deze gigbag kan je je geen buil vallen. Sterker nog, bij een val zal je bass zeker beschermd zijn.
