The head also provides a practical and accurate built-in tuner and a mute button, so you can do away with the external stompbox, while the gain pot can be set precisely to match the output of your bass and the front-fitted VU metre monitors the signal for any unwanted distortion or clipping, leaving a clean tone. The ONE 800: Adaptable Bass

Gianfranco Rizzi, is not only the technician and founder of GRBass, but is also an especially astute musician. As such, the ONE 800 amp head is built to serve nothing but high-quality sound via a set of no-nonsense controls. If you're rehearsing at home, use the headphone output and adjust the dedicated volume pot. Via the mini-jack aux input, you can plug in your phone or laptop and play along with your favourite album. If you spend more time in the studio or on stage, then you can tweak the dedicated master volume controls for both channels as needed.

For the More Experienced Bassist

If you're a multi-band, genre-hopping bassist then the 4-band equaliser of this amp head is an absolute essential. While it offers full control over the highs and lows, it also gives you more accurate tone-shaping tools in the form of mid-high and mid-low pots and a 3-way frequency switch. The DI output of this pro-grade amp can be hooked up to a stage-block and the output signal can be toggled with ease using the corresponding pot, and so that any external (max 300mA) stompbox can be added, simply jack it through the effects loop or input, and power it via the convenient 9V output fitted around the back.
