General
TC Electronic's Thrust BQ250 is a 250-watt bass guitar amplifier head with a thrust compressor. Thanks to its compact and lightweight design, it's easy to take with you whether you're going to rehearsals or performances. The newly-designed EQ and MOSFET preamplifier deliver a wide range of tones and the kind of dynamic response you normally only get from tube amps. There's a passive/active switch as well that optimises the settings for bass guitars with passive or active pickups.
Thrust BQ250
The Thrust BQ250 has plenty of connection possibilities on board too. There's a balanced DI output so that you can connect it directly to a mixer or recording equipment and if you want to practise in silence, there's a headphone output with speaker simulation. You can plug in an external audio source via the aux input and play along with your favourite tracks too. Last but not least, this amp head also features a thrust compressor that gives your sound extra punch. All this comes in a robust housing made of steel.
