General

Gallien-Krueger took their immensely popular MB Fusion bass amplifier, swapped its power amp with that of the MB800 and made several other very practical upgrades. The result is this small yet versatile powerhouse: the MB Fusion 800. It boasts a massive 800 watts of power and still weighs only 2.5 kilos. As it is so compact, you can easily bring it in your gig bag. The MB Fusion 800 is equipped with three 12AX7 preamp tubes for a rich, warm sound and tasteful distortion. The digital class-D power amplifier gives you the authentic GK punch and quick response.

Gallien-Krueger MB Fusion 800: practical features

The MB Fusion 800 has two switchable channels that allow you to go from a full, warm and clean sound to the characteristic Gallien-Krueger edge. Both channels have their own volume and gain control, which allow you to use channel B as drive at the same volume as channel A, or use both channels at different volumes for solos. Moreover, the MB Fusion 800 is fitted with GK's famous active 4-band equalizer and contour control. Contrary to the MB Fusion 500, this amp has the voicing filters (contour 500/800Hz, presence and deep) and the limiter on the front panel, disguised as push/pull contour, treble, bass and master controls.

DI-output, FX loop and more

On the back is Gallien Krueger's high-end DI output with ground lift and pre/post EQ button. Next to the footswitch input is the tuner output and the FX loop that let you add your favourite external effects to the overall signal. Additionally, the MB Fusion 800 features a headphone output that can also be used as a line-out or to daisy chain a GK MB powered speaker cabinet or heavier power amp. Last but not least, the amp's fitted with two SpeakOn outputs for cabinets of 1x 4 ohms, 1x 8 ohms, 2x 8 ohms or 1x 16 ohms.

Super lichtgewicht bas amp met genoeg vermogen, 1 rackunit (rackmounts apart te bestellen), 3 buizen pre-amp en footswitch voor switchen tussen de 2 kanalen. Doordat het front verlicht is kun je on stage indien nodig goed en snel je sound tweaken
