General

The Ampeg SVT-VR from the Classic series is all about tubes. This bass head is a remake of the original Blue Line from the '70s, but has a brighter and richer sound thanks to its 300 watts RMS. What's more, this amp has no less than six output tubes! The preamp has three,

and is equipped with a mid-tone control, otherwise known as the 'rocker switch'. The preamp stage and power section follow the signal path of the original rock 'n' roll sound perfectly, making it a must-have for rockers that want that in-your-face Ampeg bass sound.

NAMM 2016: Hartke Presents a New Bass Amp and Four New Bass Pedals
