A real kick drum moves quite a bit of air around, which is something you'd normally miss out on when play you an electronic drum kit. Not with the Roland KD-222, though. This bass drum pad not only looks like a real kick but plays and feels like one thanks to the fitted resonant drumhead. At 18 inches deep, the KD-222-GE builds up a fair amount of air pressure and comes loaded with V-Drums Series trigger-technology. Oh, and have we mentioned it's super-quiet?
