General
The sound of your drum kit is influenced heavily by the type of drumheads you use and how you tune those heads. Therefore, you should always choose the drumhead that best matches you playing style. Remo's Clear Emperors allow for a warm, open tone with a bright attack. They're perfect for rock and pop music, but also very well suited for other genres such as funk and latin. The heads consist of two free-floating plies of Mylar, each only 7 mil (0.18 mm) thick. A thin layer of oil between the two plies ensures optimal muffling of any unwanted overtones. The Remo Emperor Clear drumheads are also highly durable, so they'll last you a long time.

Wrote the following about Remo BB-1318-00 Clear Emperor 18-inch drumhead
Zeer goed vel. Mooi afgewerkt zoals altijd bij Remo. Klinkt heel goed. Ideaal voor pop/rock. Het vel heeft genoeg punch/attack en power maar heeft ook helderheid en een lange sustain. Gaat ook nog eens lang mee. Aanrader!
