The ART Pro VLA II is a compressor/levelling amplifier equipped with tube technology. Because the compressor comes before the amplifier, the loss of gain is compensated, making this amp suitable for professional use. In fact, with its unsurpassed sound quality, this amplifier should really be part of your studio setup. Every mixing and mastering session will be a party with the Pro VLA II by ART.
Vactrol technology
The Pro VLA II makes use of a technology known as Vactrol that uses an Opto electronic circuit for much more transparent and musical compression. Unlike many other compressors, the Pro VLA II won't leave you with a sound that is unnatural and compromised. While it's capable of delivering extreme compression, it excels in situations where the utmost dynamic control is required.
Clear, reliable and convenient
The clearly lit analogue VU meters accurately show the input and output levels, while the LED strips underneath show the gain reduction. The LED strips can also be set to function as a volume indicator during mixing or mastering. With balanced XLR and 1/4-inch jack inputs and outputs, the Pro VLA II can be connected to any audio source. Whether you use the Pro VLA II for home or professional use, with the +4 dBu/-10 dBu switch you can adjust it accordingly.

In onze audio post production studio, Protools 12 HD, zijn wij super tevreden met deze compressor.
Echt een aanrader om te kopen, daarbij komt BAX shop altijd zijn afspraken na qua levering.
Wij kregen de ART Pro VLA II compressor de volgende morgen al geleverd.
de stereo link functie is een pluspunt
maar vooral door de prijs kwaliteit verhouding
krijgt deze processor 5 sterren
wat bax betreft ben ik alweer zeer tevreden
uitstekende service met een real time website wat de voorraad betreft

Meteen ook even binnenin gaan kijken en moet zegen dat het app heel netjes is afgewerkt betreffend de opbouw, volledig afgeschermde ringkerntransformator.De twee voorversterker radiolampen 12 AT7 zijn heel bekende.,zijn ook volledig afgeschermd met een metalen kapje met veer, zodat deze niet kunnen loskomen bij trillingen. Verder zijn alle componenten die zoals grotere caps. en bepaalde onderdelen netjes verlijmd. Alleen jammer dat de radiobuizen van chinese makelij zijn.
Prijs kwaliteit 9 op 10
Na veel software plug-ins gebruikt te hebben, wilde ik toch meer de sound en fysieke ervaring van een hardware compressor. Voornamelijk voor mastering van mijn eigen tracks, maar ook zeker als bus compressor.
Na veel research gedaan te hebben, kwam ik uiteindelijk uit bij deze ART VLAII. Op internet zijn vele positieve reviews te lezen over dit apparaat en ik moet zeggen, ik ben het ermee eens! Dit is een waanzinnige investering! Voor deze prijs krijg je een compressor die bijna klinkt en aanvoelt als zijnde een die het drievoudige kost. Warm, rond, subtiel maar toch strak en dik als je 'm goed laat werken.
De grote VU meters zijn een uitstekende visuele aanvulling op de LED bars voor de dB Reductie en de output meters. In Stereo modus gebruik je de linker kant van het paneel voor je instellingen en voor bijv. een Mastering sessie werkt dat lekker overzichtelijk en snel. Nog een voordeel: een aan/uit knop op het frontpaneel.
Het apparaat heeft een mooi afgewerkt frontpaneel die een zeer degelijke uitstraling heeft met goed aanvoelende draaiknoppen en switches en duidelijke labels van de functies.
Van deze aankoop heb ik zeker geen spijt. Veel waar voor je geld, kwalitatief uitstekend en qua klank veelzijdig en degelijk. Aanrader!
