General
Once guitarists have had a taste of the warm, rich sounds of a powerfully distorted tube amplifier, they hardly ever go back. Trouble is, how do you keep these tones at a level that doesn't blow your ear drums to smithereens? The Koch DB-60S/P Dummybox Studio/PA is great for this - it is a manageable box that (while retaining the timbre) reduces the tube sound to an acceptable level for a speaker cabinet or mixer.
The options of the Koch Dummybox Studio/PA
The input of the Dummybox Studio/PA can be connected to an 8-ohm output on your valve guitar amplifier. Now the Dummybox handles the power, so you no longer need to connect a speaker cabinet. You can send the signal, with speaker emulation, directly to a mixer via the balanced XLR or to a speaker cabinet any way. Connect a speaker cabinet and you can choose whether you want to have the output at normal volume (Thru) or at 5, 3 or 1% of the power.
Koch quality
After years and years of being a guitarist and valve-amp expert, the Dutch Dolf Koch started his own business in 1988. The brand's high-quality guitar and bass guitar amplifiers are practical and versatile, and have a unique balanced sound. All of them are carefully crafted and tested, which is why many professional players rely on Koch quality.
