IK Multimedia’s iRig Mic is the first handheld condenser microphone for your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. This microphone allows you to create high-quality audio recordings, wherever you are!
High-quality handheld microphone for iPad
The iRig Mic is ideal for musicians that want to record in rehearsal rooms, producers and composers that want to quickly record an idea, recording meetings, outside recordings and for recording interviews. Your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad is turned in to a personal memo recorder.
The microphone has a unidirectional condenser capsule, which means that you can use it for close miking and ambient miking. You can adjust the input volume with a three-way witch. This allows you to prevent distortion.
You can connect the microphone with the accessory jack plug that also allows you to connect an headphone. This means that you can use a headphone as a monitor, so that you can listen to your recordings in real-time.
Accessory iPad app
The iRig Mic is delivered including the VocaLive FREE app, a real-time effect processor software for vocalists, and iRig recorder FREE (for iOS) used to record audio. The iRig Mic is the ideal partner in the studio, on the road, in rehearsal rooms and during gigs. Together with the iKlip it forms an ideal recording combination.
