General
The MW12C is the big brother of the MW10C, with the biggest difference being in the number of channels. The MW12C has a unique built-in one-knob compressor for channels 1 through 4 for perfectly adjusting incoming signals. The channels are equipped with Neutrik connectors and have just an on/off switch for activating the channel. This mixer includes Cubase AI4 software.

Ik ben zelf niet een #1 Producer, en daar ga ik ook niet van uit. Maar dit is echt een geweldig apparaat. De USB functie gebruik ik zelf niet, maar dat is ook niet de reden dat ik hem uiteindelijk heb aangeschaft.
Alles werkt uitstekend,
- Geen Krakende Faders
- Goede EQ verhoudingen, daarmee, geen groot verschil tussen frequenties van de knobs; Overigens wel jammer dat hij geen kill heeft, maar dat maakt niet uit.
- Goede Compressor-filter over de Gain
De DSP effecten die op de duurdere versie zitten, waren niet belangrijk voor mijzelf.

Een apparaat dat doet wat hij moet doen. En dat doet uit uitstekend. Zoals gewoonlijk, brengt Yamaha "Degelijkheid en Kwaliteit''.

Ik was op de hoogte van gewicht van het mengpaneel, maar was toch enigzins teleurgesteld in de robuustheid / degelijkheid toen ik het voor het eerst vastpakte. Voelt goedkoop aan.
Wanneer de usb in/out aangesloten is ''werkt''
de helft van het mengpaneel niet meer, en verlies je dus de controle over de kanalen. Wel goeie geluidskwaliteit over usb, zeker vergeleken met een standaard audiokaart. Maar voor mensen die al een goeie kaart hebben zou ik adviseren om voor de versie zonder usb te gaan.
Uiteindelijk heb ik de usb afgesloten en werkt alles perfect. De usb gebruik ik verder nog wel als ik er niet mee werk, maar een lekker muziekje wil luisteren.
Al met al, net niet.
