Most mixers in this price class simply cannot compete with the quality of Soundcraft's EPM-12 PA and recording mixer. That's because they've focused on build quality and audio performance first and kept things simple. It doesn't mean that they haven't used any new technologies or ideas on this mixer - they have! Take the highly-transparent GB30 Mic amp for instance, featuring high-resolution adjustment and 22 dB of headroom. You'll also notice the quality of the EMP-12s metal construction and its clear layout for easy operation. We hadden vorig jaar een nieuwe mixer nodig toen, bij wijze van proef, al een aangeschaft. deze bevalt zo goed dat we, nu we een tweede mixer nodig hebben, er nog een bij gekocht hebben.
enigste nadeel zijn de mute knoppen. het is soms lastig te zien of een ingang gemute staat.
De signalen die ik opneem lopen via de preamps van het mengpaneel. (via de inserts als direct-out)
Het geluid wat ik nu opneem is warmer dan eerst, toen ik nog geen mengpaneel had.
Het geluid is minder klinisch.
Het mengpaneel zelf is degelijk zonder fratsen, en de geluidskwaliteit is uitstekend!
Een aanrader zeker voor deze prijs!
Toen ik het apparaat uit de case haalde.
De EPM 12 werkt nu ook totaal naar verwachting , buitengewoon goed.
Ik heb een studio voor experimentele, electro-acoustische muziek
Limieten in ieder opzicht worden verkent en waar technisch mogelijk, overschreden.
Werkend met de EPM serie betekent geluidskwaliteit, bedieningsgemak en compatibiliteit als harde waarden beschouwen.
Een erg prettig apparaat in een omgeving van zeer uiteenlopende toepassingen van evenzeer uiteenlopende typen apparatuur!Een absolute aanrader voor ieder die serieus met geluid bezig is!

Doorgaans gebruik ik dit paneel als FOH of monitormixer, maar ook voor andere toepassingen lijkt hij mij perfect.
Ik en de mixer zijn al goede vriendjes geworden, we zijn onafscheidelijk!
Vroeger werkte ik met de xenyx en eurolive reeks van Behringer, maar nu weet ik het wel. Je hoort het verschil op zoveel punten, ik sta er versteld van!
Geen enkele vorm van ruis te bekennen.
Pluspunten:
- Stevige constructie
- Goed verpakt, snelle levering
- Rackmounts meegeleverd
- Duidelijke gebruiksaanwijzing
- Bij de gebruiksaanwijzing zit een papier dat je eindeloos mag kopiëren. Dit is een papier waar heel je mixer in 'tekenvorm' opstaat. Als je verschillende evenementen tegelijk hebt lopen, kan je dus aanduiden hoe je mixer net stond.
Minpunten:
- Houd er rekening mee dat de output de 2 XLR connectoren zijn, en niet de 2 jacks.
Ik had me hierin even vergist, maar dit was snel opgelost!
Ik kan deze mixer zeker aanraden, voor de meeste kleine en middelgrote evenementen is dit ideaal!
