General

If you need a durable amplifier for powering a small-scale PA system, then the IPS 1700 by RCF fits the bill. It's a 2U amp that delivers 2x 450W RMS @ 4 ohms and 900W RMS bridged @ 8 ohms. It has several internal protection systems that prevent the amp from overheating, overloading, short cirtcuiting and so forth. This 2-channel Class-H amp offers a fast response without unwanted noise. What's more, it has XLR inputs and SpeakON outputs. The IPS 1700 is suitable for small-scale PA systems that are ideal for things like intimate venues, DJs and sports events.

Belgian professional audio company Audac have introduced five new amplifiers. These class D model's names all begin with the letters EPA and come in three 2-channel versions and two 4-channel versions. They automatically switch themselves to Standby mode when there is no audio signal and with passive cooling they are virtually maintenance free.
