QSC PLD4.2 Amplifier with Built-In Processor
Product no: 9000-0005-8630 Bax Music Warranty: This product comes with a 3-year warranty.

General

QSC's PLD series consists of three powerful amps in total, each with advanced DSP and the option to drive multiple channels. This PLD4.2 is a 4-channel amplifier with a built-in processor that can be integrated with and configured to your current sound system in minutes. It's robust, lightweight and efficient, and even though it's the most compact unit in the series, it boasts an output of up to 1600 watts.

Advanced Amplifier Technology

It looks as though this amplifier was built upside-down, but this is to prevent any dust, moisture or other harmful particles from falling inside the device and damaging the PCB. This amp has FAST on board, which distributes the output capacity in a clever way over 1, 2, 3 or all four outputs. This gives you various configurations with a single amplifier. Use it to power four full-range speakers or subwoofers, a bi-amped speaker and a subwoofer, a full-range speaker and a subwoofer combination or multiple heavy-duty subwoofers. The configuration is easy to adjust by means of the controls and the TFT screen on the front of the amp. You can choose between a number of factory presets, fine-tune them as desired, then save them in one of the fifty available user presets.

Built-In System Processor

Operate the built-in system processor via the same control panel on the front of the PLD4.2 amp. It features a fully-fledged processor and various limiters (RMS and peak) to ensure the amp + speaker combination doesn't clip. The PLD4.2 also features crossovers, a 5-band parametric EQ and a delay that ensures the entire system is fine-tuned to perfection. Integrating the amp and the processor ensures that the whole system is intuitive to use. Within minutes, your new setup will be ready to go and you'll have room to spare in your rack!
