General
The GX-7 by QSC is an ideal amplifier for those who only want the very best! It has a capacity of two times 725 Watts at 8 Ohms, meaning it will give your speakers all the power it can muster. It's equipped with a Class-H circuit for optimal efficiency. All that, combined with a total distortion of only 0.05%, is the recipe for impeccable audio quality!
Optimal Protection by Guardrail System
QSC's very own Guardrail protection system prevents your equipment from damage by overloading or overheating. In an effort to prevent extended clipping or overheating, other protection systems shut your amplifier down completely until it cools off. The Guardrail, however, does not. Instead, it lowers the volume level until the clipping stops or the temperature goes down.

The GX7 is an amazingly lightweight amplifier with an incredible capacity-to-weight ratio! Even though it boasts 2 times 725 Watts at 8 Ohms, it's anything but a heavy-weight. It may look small at just 7.5 kilos, but it packs an enormous punch!

Zeer tevreden over zijn voorganger vandaar dezelfde aangeschaft ter vervanging van de oude.
Le samedi fete de la musique, monté sur deux peavey 215xt et la a ma bonne surprise l ampli a tourné de 19 h a 2h du matin sans incident avec un rendement impressionnant , jai acheté cet ampli en remplacement d un p7000s yamaha et franchement rien a envier !!
Je conseil vivement l achat de cet marque .
Rond 22.00 uur besteld (misschien net over 22.00 uur) andere dag in huis, echt toppie.
Deze GX7 is echt een topaankoop, deze heb ik nu ingebouwd i.p.v. mijn Dap palladium 1200, om mn bassen aan te sturen, maar echt een super geluid.
Had ik eerder moeten doen.

Dit bericht zal ook wel verwijderd worden.
Wel apart is de verschillende warmte-flow richtingen van de 7 t.o.v. de 5. De 7 heeft namelijk een back-to-front flow, met achterin een fan die de lucht naar binnen blaast en voor er weer uit. De GX5 daarentegen heeft een left-to-right flow met een fan aan de binnenkant. De lucht gaat aan de voorkant links naar binnen en rechts weer naar buiten. Naar mijn idee niet helemaal ideaal want je zuigt dus net zo goed warme lucht van de uitkant weer naar binnen. Daarbij, als je net als ons een rackje maakt met een 7 onder en 5 boven, zuigt je 5 dus ook de uitgaande warme lucht van de 7 naar binnen. Dus daar ga ik even op letten of dat goed gaat.
Maar op dat puntje na ga ik er vanuit dat we kunnen vertrouwen op de bekende QSC kwaliteit en het ziet er ook allemaal goed en degelijk uit!
