General
The Electro Voice Q99 is a Q-series amplifier, which means that it's been made with a good eye for dynamic headroom and delivers transient response, resulting in a 30% higher output capacity for short signals than other models in its class. Moreover, this is a class-H amplifier, which means that its circuit was designed to limit power usage and heat generation by 50%. With such a design, the Q99 lends itself perfectly as a great addition to a rack with multiple amplifiers. A rack amp can be a smart choice, since it's is easier to power and keep cool than conventional amps.
Use
An amplifier from the Q series such as the Q99 combines perfectly with passive speakers from the Zx and Tour-X series. You'll find these amplifiers being used in clubs, at concerts, in theatres and at sporting events. The Q series offers reliable amplifiers with many options and safety systems built-in, making it a popular choice. The Q99 itself offers two times 1,250 Watts of power at 2 Ohms, making it a powerful addition to your sound system.
