General
The Electro Voice Q1212 is a high-output amplifier with excellent efficiency, and is the perfect choice for driver sound systems such as the ZX series or the Tour-X series by Electro Voice. This amplifier is equipped with a comprehensive safety system that protects it against overheating, overloading, short-circuiting and power supply irregularities. Furthermore, the speakers are protected by relays to provide a switching delay.
Functionality
The Q1212 has a built-in LPN (low-pass notch) filter that compensates for any distortion that occurs in dynamic signals - such as those from kick drums - and it provides a higher acoustic output and more punch. Furthermore, this class-H amplifier uses half as much power while maintaining a high output capacity and limited heat generation. This makes the Q1212 an excellent choice for larger amp racks.

ik gebruik hem op mijn TX1181 subwoofers en een Q99 voor mijn TX1152 toppen.
zijn echt super versterkers.

en wat krijg je toegestuurd een 2de hansje doos is open geweest oor krom en kras erop
Dan word je afgescheept met 25 dat zou zoon 3.5 % korting zijn op een nieuw versterker.
En dan hoor je naar weken niets meer van.
Wat een stelletje zuinige zeeuwse kruide plukkers.

Mijn beoordeling is ruim voldoende maar dat heeft vooral te maken met de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.
Op vol vermogen tot net in/onder het clippen komt ie tekort qua prestaties, maar dan moet ik wel eerlijk zeggen dat je op dat vermogen niet in de buurt wilt staan van deze Tour X luidsprekers zonder gehoorbescherming, want dat gaat pijn doen. En als ik eerlijk ben, op dat vermogen heb ik in op mijn 24 jaar ervaring nog nooit hoeven draaien.
Mijn persoonlijke voorkeur zou dan uitgaan naar de CP3000 of CP4000 maar deze versterkers moeten dan wel in je budget passen natuurlijk.
Al met al is de Q1212 een prima versterker voor een goede prijs.
