General

The Groove Tubes GT-EL34-M MED QUARTET is a faithful reproduction the standard fixtures in any high-powered British stacks built in the '60s. The output of this valve is 20 to 25 Watts and is the big brother of the EL84. If you gift this tube to your amplifier, it'll thank you with a rich, warm mid range and a thick, fat sound but if you try to push the Quartet tube to its limit, it'll give you some crunch. The Groove Tubes® GT-EL34-M MED has been extensively tested and comes in a pack of four.

These preamp tubes offer less gain than the standard 12AX7 tubes that virtually every modern tube amp is equipped with. Instead, they offer a beautiful vintage tone.
