VOX presents the MV50 Clean from their range of ultra-compact 50-watt amp heads for guitarists who want to play cleaner than clean with lots of headroom. The preamp was based on the innovative NuTube technology by Korg and the Class-D power amp was designed especially for this series. The result is a robust sound with lots of headroom, while still maintaining silence and stability where needed. As well as the unmistakable design, there's a handy VU meter on the front and three stylish chicken-head knobs for ultimate control at your fingertips.
MV50: handy, complete, and compatible
The EQ switch on this MV50 Clean amp was specially designed so that this practical amp head could be used with both large and small speaker cabinets. The 'deep' setting is recommended for use with a small cabinet, and 'flat' is advised for use with larger cabinets. The BC108 and BC112 cabinets from the Black Cab series are ideal in combination with the MV50 amp heads. As well as an instrument input and an output for the speaker cabinet, this VOX amp head also features a line output for a set of headphones or an interface. Last but not least, the MV50 Clean comes complete with a 19V DC adapter.

ging ik op zoek naar een 50 Watt 'lunchbox' versterker.
Hoewel zelfs veel kleiner dan dat, leek de VOX MD50 Clean hiervoor een goede keus.
Ik heb hem inmiddels een paar weken in bezit en hij presteert boven verwachting goed.
Ruim voldoende repetitievolume bij 25 Watt op een 12 inch Celestion Vintage 8 Ohm cabinet.
Prachtig helder transparant geluid bij gebruik van zowel mijn Strat als Les Paul.
Met de toonregeling is vrijwel altijd de juiste sound voor verschillende stijlen te
vinden waarbij de NuTube in de pre-amp een verrassend goed buizenkarakter neerzet.
Met mijn pedalboard (compressor-Overdrive-Chorus-Flanger-Delay) kan hij eveneens
prima uit de voeten.
Met mijn 2x 12 inch Celestions cabinet (4 Ohm) komt de beschikbare 50 watt volledig tot zijn recht en zou ik hem zo voor een gig in een middelgrote zaal durven te gebruiken.
Kortom; een uitstekende koop met meer dan uitstekende prestaties, zeker voor de prijs!
L'eq flat/deep est très pratique, de plus l'attenuateur de puissance est lui aussi très utile pour une utilisation en appartement !
