General

Without a doubt, the Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier amp head can rightfully be described as legendary. For more than 20 years, this powerful tube amplifier has been the 'go-to' model for rock and metal guitarists, which is why its powerful high-gain sound can be heard on so many hit records. This model features the latest technology and a number of improved functions like the patented Multi-Watt power switch, a tuner out with silent tuning function, an improved effects loop and rectifier adjustments per channel. Whether you play soulful blues or progressive rock solos, this tube amp is for you.

Dual Rectifier Head: legendary amp head

The latest Dual Rectifier Head has three independent channels. Apart from its rock-solid high gain, this model offers a wider range of sounds allowing you to effortlessly find something, no matter what style of music you play. The Clean and Pushed modes on channel 1 have been improved. Channels 2 and 3 offer more soul in Raw, more powerful harmonics and more fluent gain in Vintage and a tighter gut-punching attack in Modern. So stop fantasising about the tube amp of your dreams and start playing through one instead.

Connectors and switches

When it comes to connection possibilities, the Dual Rectifier won't let you down either. 4, 8 or 16 ohm cabinets can be connected. There is also a slave out (with level control) available for linking to another amplifier. As well as an effects loop and a tuner out, there are diverse External Switching outputs available (Channel 2, Channel 3, Solo and Loop). On the back, you'll also find the Bias and Rectifier select buttons and the main power switch (Spongy or Bold). Finally, the included six-button foot switch lets you control the three channels, Mute, Loop and Solo. A black cover is also included.

Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Head tube guitar amplifier head
Wrote the following about Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Head tube guitar amplifier head
