General

This 30th Anniversary TubeMeister 18 Head is a compact 18-watt tube amp made by Hughes & Kettner. It features two channels for clean and lead that can also be enhanced by a signal booster so you can easily switch between a broad palette of bright cleans to crunchy, raw distortion tones. Regardless of whether you're playing a serene ballad or shredding metal-style, the Tubemeister gives you the tonal character you need. A Power Soak knob allows you to switch between 1, 5 or 18 watts. This all-round amp is suitable for use at home or on stage and its cool blue lighting adds the finishing touch to this great amp head. To top it all off, it even comes with a gig bag!

30th Anniversary TubeMeister 18H: power in a little package

The TubeMeister 18 Head is equipped with two 12AX7 tubes in the preamp and two powerful vintage Russian Sovtek EL84 tubes in the power amp. Together, they offer a warm sound that's bright and punchy. A tube amp is designed to accurately amplify the dynamics in your playing. Using the straightforward 3-band equalizer, you can adjust the treble, mid and bass with great precision. Also, you can change the volume levels of the clean and lead channels separately, which is handy when you want to go from clean to overdrive during a gig. It's lightweight and compact, making this amp head portable and easy to transport.

Red Box DI

The Red Box is a common element in the amplifiers by Hughes & Kettner. It's an integrated DI output that simulates the sound of a cabinet and sends it to a mixer. This is great for when you want to record something quickly without placing a microphone in front of your speaker cabinet. Please note, though, that a Red Box is absolutely not a replacement for a speaker cabinet.
