General

The Diezel Herbert amp head is a high-grade, powerful 180-watt tube amp head with three independent channels that offer you a broad array of transparent and focused guitar sounds. The preamp is equipped with six ECC83 tubes and the power amp has six KT77 tubes. All three channels have their own controls for volume, bass, middle and treble. Channels two and three also have their own gain potentiometer so you can adjust the amount of distortion with great accuracy. When it comes to speaker output, you can choose between 2x 4 ohms, 2x 8 ohms and 1x 16 ohms.

Diezel Herbert: plenty of choice

The first channel of the Herbert tube amp head offers you clean sounds that vary from warm to sparkling. The second boasts a broad range of classic to modern crunch sounds. When you activate the Plus mode, you can play rhythm as well as lead with the legendary Diezel distortion. The third channel gives you a selection of overdrive lead and rhythm sounds for heavier music styles. Thanks to the mid cut, the Herbert tube amp head can offer the popular sound of rectifier-style amplifiers.

Effect loops, MIDI, and more

When it comes to effects loops, this Diezel Herbert allows you to choose between serial, parallel, or switchable varieties. This last option lets you hook up an extra preamp, for example. The Diezel amp head is also equipped with a MIDI in and thru to drive the amp, and the Loop and Store controls put you in complete charge of your presets. The tuner output, in combination with the Mute button, allow you to tune your guitar between songs while performing live. With the compensated output, you can record the sound of this Herbert tube amp head directly by means of an audio interface.
