General

Blackstar's ID:60TVP-H is a highly versatile programmable amplifier head with 60 watts of power. It features Blackstar's revolutionary TVP, LOUD as valve technology that has been specially developed to deliver pure tube sounds and volumes in live situations. The ID:60TVP-H is as easy to operate as a traditional amp, yet gives you the sort of flexibility only a digital model can provide.

Characteristics of the Blackstar ID:60TVP-H

Blackstar had maximum flexibility and programmability at the forefront of their minds during the development of the ID:60TVP-H. There are a total of six channels consisting of Clean Bright, Clean Warm, Crunch, Super Crunch, OD1 and OD2. By using the unique ISF knob, you can go for a typical American or British sound or anything in between, giving you almost any guitar sound you can think of. The studio-quality effects section consists of 4 modulations, 4 delays and 4 reverbs. It's possible to save your sounds to one of the 128 user presets so that you can recall them easily later on. There's even an optional multifunctional foot switch available so that you change settings while you're playing. The amp head also has a MIDI input, allowing you to connect an optional MIDI foot controller.

True Valve Power technology for pure tube power

The characteristic sound of a tube amp is mostly down to its power tubes. Blackstar's ID series features revolutionary True Valve Power technology that accurately reproduces the response, overdrive and dynamics of no less than six different types of tubes. With the ID:60TVP-H, you can choose between the sound of EL84, 6V6, EL34, KT66, 6L6 and KT88 tubes. While most modelling amplifiers reproduce tube sounds, they only manage to do this at 'transistor' volumes. The Blackstar ID:60 amp head, on the other hand, delivers a comparable volume to a tube amp so that you have enough punch to cut through the mix when playing live on stage.

Fully-equipped programmable guitar amp head

Blackstar's ID series of amplifiers are all equipped with a USB port. That makes it possible to upload, download and share sounds with the online community or record music on your computer. With the included Blackstar software you can edit sounds and save them when you're done. The ID:60TVP-H is also equipped with an emulated speaker output and an MP3/line input so that you can play along with your favourite music.
