Made from a plant-based material called Ecodear, the Yamaha YRA-48B alto recorder still retains classic, warm tone and authentic sound that comes as close as it gets to the response of a wooden recorder.

Wrote the following about Yamaha YRA-48B Ecodear Alto Recorder

At the price you can’t go wrong. Yamaha don’t make bad recorders. This feels solid, heavier than other plastic recorders. A nice tone and the bottom notes are easy as long as you don’t overblow. It has the full range of two octaves though the very top notes take some effort. If you don’t want to spend hundreds of pounds on a wooden recorder which needs playing in, a lot of maintenance, and will, eventually wear out - then this is a great cheap recorder with a very acceptable sound and tone.m

Mooi instrument, goede toon. Iets moeilijker te bespelen dan de sopraanblokfluit omdat ik kleine, artritische handen heb, maar ik boek goede vooruitgang.
