General

The Presonus AIR15s active subwoofer is the ideal companion to the AIR full-range speaker series. This powerhouse has a Class-D amplifier and an output of 1200 Watts. The 15-inch speaker produces a detailed, clear low frequency that goes as low as 35 Hz. The AIR15s is ideal for mobile use as well as fixed installations. An LED display located on the rear of the sub enables you to select presets that are suitable for various applications, such as Mo’Bass, which adds an extra boost to the low end. You can also add your own setting via the equalizer.

PreSonus AIR15s: presets for every situation

The solid birch housing of the AIR15s makes it particularly suitable for use on the road. It's also lightweight and has ergonomic handles for easy manageability. It also comes with a set of wheels that you can mount underneath, making it even easier to get the sub from A to B. The AIR15s has two XLR/TRS jack inputs and a TRS mini jack so you can connect your smartphone or media player. Use the Presonus with a full-range speaker from the AIR series and you've got yourself an impressive wall of sound!

More Bass with QSC K Cardioid Subwoofer and E Series

With a regular subwoofer, you can often lose low tones. QSC has found the solution to that problem and named it the K Cardioid. They plan to officially launch this active sub at the 2017 NAMM show next week. It has a cardioid directional pattern at its core which effectively prevents low frequencies from escaping via the rear or sides of the cabinet, resulting in more bass and a higher sound pressure level!
