KRK offers this 12s2 subwoofer that will extend the low frequencies of your Rokit, VXT or other studio monitors that have a 6 to 10-inch woofer. KRK's strategy has always been to provide an accurate reproduction that sounds as neutral as possible, which means an authentic, tight response that won't taint your original audio source. The brand is known for the low distortion in their subs and monitors that is loved by many producers and engineers. This particular 12s2 delivers 240 watts of continual power and bears the unmistakable yellow and black house style of this renowned brand.
Amazing bass reproduction control
KRK has pulled out all the stops to equip this 12s2 sub with as many impressive features as possible. First of all, it enables you to control the bass reproduction to perfection according to your own personal preferences. You can also set up the phase for a perfect match with the placement and position of the 12s2. Also, this sub possesses a limiter that essentially functions as a compressor, but will never cause any distortion or clipping. The bass port is located on the front of the unit to prevent low frequencies from piling up as a result of being too close to the wall or other obstacles.

Besides being ideal for surround-sound mixing (up to 10.2), the KRK 12s2 is a great addition to your existing stereo setup because it's built like a tank. The metal grill offers excellent protection against damage to the woofer, and the durable exterior is made of reinforced MDF.
