General

When you need tones that are lower than low, Fender offers the F-18SUB, an active subwoofer that features an 18-inch woofer, 1000 watts of power, and adjustable contour EQ. You can give your bass tones an extra boost, or keep them neutral, so you can tweak the sound on your mixing console. With two XLR/TRS combo inputs at your disposal, you can separate the left and right channel. The two XLR outputs allow you to connect it to two amp heads, and an internal crossover keeps the frequencies discrete for a noise-free signal.

When it comes to PA systems, Fender is at the top of the heap. They launched the Fortis F-12BT and F-15BT as the start of their active speaker line, and now they've added two new models to the range. The smallest of the two is the 10-inch F-10BT, and then there's the 18-inch F-18SUB, which is a subwoofer. Together, they make an ideal Fender set!

More Bass with QSC K Cardioid Subwoofer and E Series

With a regular subwoofer, you can often lose low tones. QSC has found the solution to that problem and named it the K Cardioid. They plan to officially launch this active sub at the 2017 NAMM show next week. It has a cardioid directional pattern at its core which effectively prevents low frequencies from escaping via the rear or sides of the cabinet, resulting in more bass and a higher sound pressure level!
