Hele krachtige subwoofer. Klinkt heel erg vol en gaat erg laag. Gemakkelijk te gebruiken. In combinatie met 2 etx35p en 4 etx18sp komt alles volledig tot zijn recht. Gaat alleen wel snel in limiet.

Als uitbreiding van bestaande set ( ETX-18SP met ETX-15 toppen).
Is gewoon super. Geweldige laag beleving. Ingebouwde DSP werkt goed.
Ingebouwde limiter en thermische beveiliging jagen je speakers niet over de schreef.
Kortom Top sub.!!!
Kleine verbetering:
-Handvatten 90 graden draaien.
-Powercon aansluiting
-Bokwielen met rem.

ETX is duidelijk het vlagschip van EV. Dat bewijst deze 18 inch subwoofer zonder blikken of blozen. Het is niet alleen een stijlvolle verschijning, maar ook een stevige, goed klinkende kast met een doordringende en diepe bas.

Ik combineer de sub met een koppeltje EV ETX 15P's en denk eraan dit systeem nog verder uit te breiden met o.a. de EV ETX-35P (en nog enkele van deze 18SP's). Want met deze reeks van EV raak je niet in schaamte!

De Electro-Voice ETX-18SP actieve subwoofer is een fijne bass. Ik maak er veel gebruik van en ben er zeer tevreden mee. De bass is
heel zuiver en laag. De bass is duidelijk voelbaar, ik zou er graag nog een bij willen kopen. De subwoofer is zwaar en gelukkig
zitten er wieltjes onder wat echt ideaal is. Met het display aan de achterzijde kan je alles mooi inregelen. Ik vind het wel jammer dat
er geen bleutooth op zit zodat je het een en ander met een app kan inregelen/bedienen. Wat ik ook een voordeel vind is dat er
twee XLR link outputs aan de achterzijde ingebouwd zijn.

Ik heb verschillende 12inch toppen van EV maar als Dj mis ik dan toch de nodige bass tijdens shows. Daarom heb ik deze subwoofer aangeschaft. Hij gaat nu al enkele jaren mee en ik moet zeggen dat ik er nog nooit problemen mee gehad heb. De bassen zijn super diep en het geluid dat eruit komt is echt enorm, maar dat is het gewicht ook... gelukkig staan er wieltjes onder die het vervoer vergemakkelijken. Om hem om podia en trapjes te dragen is er namelijk wel een klein minpunt, er zijn namelijk maar twee handvaten gemonteerd (welke wel stevig aanvoelen) waardoor er twee sterke mensen nodig zijn om hem te dragen. Dit is soms lastig als ik alleen naar een show rijd. Daarom geef ik hem (maar) 4 sterren!

Ik heb 2x de EV ETX-18sp weten te bemachtigen.
En WAUW wat een geluid.
Ik heb het laatst goed kunnen uit testen in een zaal. En mijn opstelling is: 2x EV ETX 12 en 2x EV ETX 18sp. En het geluid was zeer zuiver en het laag van de subs was zeer aangenaam om te horen. Wat ook ideaal is, is dat de subs op wielen geleverd worden was zeer goede kwaliteit. Ik was echt verbaast van de grote en gewicht van de subs. Ze zijn aardig groot en zwaar (50kg).
Je wilt ze namelijk niet 1 hoog tillen. Ik spreek uit ervaring.
De Subs zijn ook makkelijk in te stellen door de dsp.
Tot conclusie, is het een goed en degelijke sub woofer in zijn range.
Echt een beest van een woofer. Hier kan je makkelijk in combinatie met de toppen 300/400 man mee voorzien van goed geluid.
Mocht je deze subs willen aanschaffen zou ik je aanraden de toppen van EV ETX 12 of de ETX 15 erbij te halen. En om alles netjes te houden ook de bijbehorende hoezen.

- Makkelijk te verplaatsen door de wielen
- De behuizing en alles ziet er gewoon stevig en professioneel uit
- Makkelijk in te stellen d.m.v. de Display (plug en Play)

More Bass with QSC K Cardioid Subwoofer and E Series

With a regular subwoofer, you can often lose low tones. QSC has found the solution to that problem and named it the K Cardioid. They plan to officially launch this active sub at the 2017 NAMM show next week. It has a cardioid directional pattern at its core which effectively prevents low frequencies from escaping via the rear or sides of the cabinet, resulting in more bass and a higher sound pressure level!
