The Bose F1 Model 812 Flexible Array Loudspeaker
Bose is widely known for coming up with innovative gear, and both their consumer-grade and professional audio equipment includes countless ingenious designs. With the F1 Model 812, Bose hark back to their popular 802-speakers - the difference being that this all-new F1 model allows you to select a different coverage pattern depending on your needs. The F1 Model 812 features a stack of eight mid/high drivers mounted on a flexible wave-guide, where the top and bottom three can be adjusted to get a different projection angle. Together, all eight drivers operate as a line-array, ensuring that less power is needed to fill larger rooms with sound.
DSP-Driven Line-Array Speakers
Compared to standard speakers, line-array speakers offer significantly less volume when projecting audio across longer distances. Since in the case of the F1 Model 812 you also get to tweak the projection angle, this speaker is remarkably efficient. The eight drivers are accompanied by a single 12" woofer, which has been tucked away behind the line-array of drivers and comes backed up by an intelligent DSP-engine for optimal sound and effortless curve adjustments.
The Bose F1 Subwoofer
The ground-shaking bass produced by this Bose F1 system is taken care of by two F1 Series subwoofers. Each sub comes equipped with two 10" woofers and is driven by a forceful 500W amplifier for a total power output of no less than 1,000W. On-Board Cross-Over
As pro-grade bass bins befit, the F1 Subs feature a built-in cross-over and have each been outfitted with two XLR-jack combo inputs that can be linked up to two thru outputs - either with the cross-over switched on or off. To counter phase issues, it's also possible to reverse the polarity of the subs, while an integrated limiter ensures the units don't overload. Lastly, the design of the F1 Subwoofers include a distance rod so that the F1 Model 812 speakers can be mounted on top for optimal projection.

in afwachting van levering door Bax
Maar wat een perfecte sound geeft deze subwoofer. Getest op full volume, en zelfs geen klein beetje ruis te horen, en dit met niet de beste bekabeling. Strak, compact krachtige sound en ik ben funktion one gewend van plaatsen waar ik draai. Ik gebruik ze nu met mijn S1 pro op 5/8 volume en de subwoofer op 2/8 volume met de HPF en ik heb zelden zo 'n mooi en warm geluid gehoord. Je vraagt je af hoe ze het telkens doen, met kleine 10" woofers de sound van 99% van de 18inch sunwoofers overklassen. Ik heb enkel lof over mijn aankoop. Voor wie twijfelt, vooral niet doen !!!
Ik heb lang getwijfeld om ze aan te kopen, altijd met 18 inch kasten gewerkt.
Maar op een dag gebruikte ik ze voor een trouwfeest samen met de f1 812 tops,
Tot verbazing moest ik zelfs de sub wat minderen.
Voor PA vind ik ze wat zwak en is een tweede set per kant zeker aan te bevelen.
Maar ik gebruik ze nu bijna een jaar , ook voo PA van een band en ze doen echt prima hun werk.
Makkelijk in vervoer, makkelijk in setup en geen hulp meer nodig voor die vroegere zware kasten te dragen.
Geen vrij hard, maar geven een ongelooflijke goede bassweergave.Hoe ze het voor elkaar krijgen begrijp ik niet, Maar hier is goede research voor gedaan. en dat betaal je natuurlijk.
Aanrader als dj , een setje is voldoende voor 200 mensen.
Minpunt, 2 verticaal op elkaar staat niet echt stevig tegen stoten wegens geen connectie punt.
Maar je kan ze wel op hun zijde leggen, 2 op elkaar zijdelings dus en dan haken ze mooi vast in elkaar .
Je top zet je dan op een statief er mooi boven dat hij iets hoger reikt en je hebt een verbluffende set.
Ik ben blij met de bose , alle indoor toestanden werken prima met de bose.
