General
This 18-inch subwoofer has a tremendous amount of power under the bonnet. With an internal amp delivering 800 watts of unadulterated power, it's sure to get your party started right! On the rear of this sub, both thru and normal outputs are located so you can effortlessly connect your heads and adjust the crossover frequency if necessary. This way, you can set your speakers up to sound just the way you want them to.
American Audio CPX Series
The CPX Series by American Audio consists of a range of active speakers and subwoofers that were built especially for use in nightclubs and for taking on the road. It was important to the brand to offer top-quality, reliable equipment at an affordable price, thus enabling smaller venues and beginners on a budget to use their top-notch gear as well.

NAMM 2016: American Audio Presents New Products

They plan to officially launch this active sub at the 2017 NAMM show next week. It has a cardioid directional pattern at its core which effectively prevents low frequencies from escaping via the rear or sides of the cabinet, resulting in more bass and a higher sound pressure level!
