General
The compact QSC CP8 active full-range speaker has a Class-D amplifier, a peak power output of 1000 Watts, and boasts a 2-way configuration with an 8-inch woofer and a 1.4-inch compression driver. You can expect extremely accurate audio reproduction, making it an excellent PA speaker, stage monitor or instrument speaker. On board, you'll find an advanced DSP processor with five presets: default, default with extra sub, dance, dance with extra sub, floor monitor and speech, and two XLR/TRS inputs are provided alongside a monitor out for linking another speaker from the same series. There's even a stereo aux input for connecting an external audio player. In short, if you're after a powerful, versatile speaker that's lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, then the QSC CP8 is your new best friend!

Process de commande et de livraison au top...
Mes 5 étoiles se réfèrent à son prix abordable, et au fait que pour une enceinte de sono, elle est meilleure que toutes les enceintes de taille comparable, ou enceintes plus grosses mais premier prix, que j'ai pu entendre chez les amis.
Pour ce qui concerne le son, elle est donc excellente MAIS toutes proportions gardées ! Ce n'est pas de la hi fi, loin de là ! (je le rappelle, car à lire certains avis enthousiastes sur des sites spécialisés, j'avais cru que c'était la derniere merveille du monde). non. sur une chaine hifi haut de gamme, je peux reconnaître si un morceau est en wav ou en mp3 128 kbit, ici sur la cp8 je ne le peux pas. La résolution sonore ne dépasse pas celle du mp3 128 kbit/sec. je peux quand meme y reconnaître la différence entre un telechargement basse resolution sur youtube, et le mp3 128 kit, mais la différence est moins nette que sur la hi-fi.
la réponse n'est pas tout à fait linéaire, une légère distortion est perceptible à l oreille, et je suis assez déçu du controleur dsp dont je pensais qu'il corrigerait tout. il ne m'apporte RIEN. il sert surtout (et uniquement, à mon sens) de cut off basses frequences, si on connecte un caisson de basses, ou si on veut moins déranger les voisins.
l'amplificateur est lui aussi beaucoup plus mou qu'un ampli hi fi.
la directivité est bonne, donc avec une seule enceinte placée bien en face du synthé, j'arrive presque à ne pas regretter le son stereo. En gros, si on a besoin d une enceinte amplifiée nomade correcte : je recommande.
je l'utilise pour jouer du synthé, meme si le son est moins bon que sur ma hi fi, car le synthé peut balancer d'un coup des fréquences extremes, en tournant un potard, donc je ne veux pas risquer de griller ma hi fi avec. avec le volume de la cp8 au quart, j'ai suffisamment de puissance et ne cours pas le risque dabîmer le matériel.
