General
The Flexsys F12 active speaker is a lot more powerful than the 8 and 10 inch editions. This F12 model is equipped with an amplifier with twice the power, that sends 300 Watts to the woofer and 100 Watts to the tweeter. As such, this powerhouse offers a sound pressure level of 127 dB; not bad for a 12 inch speaker. The 12 inch woofer and the 1 inch tweeter give the F12 a frequency range of 65 to 20,000 Hz, making it suitable for stand-alone or full-range applications.

Ik was op zoek naar ofwel een versterker voor mijn passieve boxen, ofwel een set nieuwe actieve boxen.
Ik zocht naar een systeem dat, ook in een stille ruimte kon gebruikt worden. Kerk of theater enz..
Ik werd hierbij professioneel geholpen.
Deze mensen hebben voor mij een paar versterkers geprobeerd, helaas waren de ventilatoren een beetje te luidruchtig voor mij.
Toen een groot aantal actieve boxen beluisterd. Vergeleken oa tussen Macky, EV, RCF en dB technologies.
Stuk voor stuk geweldige boxen.
Mijn indrukken:
Macky gaf een beetje teveel tweeter ruis is rust, dus deze viel al af voor mij.
EV en RCF waren zeer expressief en mooi maar klonk een beetje te helder voor mij.
Uiteidelijk de flexsys F12 van dB technologies gekozen omwille van zijn 'stilte' in rust (geen hindelijk geruis of gezoem) en een 'natuurlijk' realistisch en 'warm' geluid.
Bedankt om mij een dik uur ter hulp te staan zodat ik rustig kon luiteren naar al deze combinaties.
echter kwam de sub05D aanzienlijk te kort bij deze flexsysf12. Daarna een paar db technologies sud15D aangeschaft. Ik moet zeggen dat deze maar net kunnen meekomen met de flexsysf12. Persoonlijk denk ik dat de sub18D beter bij deze flexsysf12 past. Deze hebben meer power en gaan iets dieper dan de sub15d.
+Helder super geluid en genoeg weergave voor feesten zonder subwoofer
+niet te zwaar maar ook niet te licht
+krachtige versterker
+met het "processed"-knopje aan heb je een goed vol geluid.
+zien er goed uit!
-Snel beschadigd aan de buitenkant
ik heb ze boven diverse subjes gehad, eerst boven 2 sub05's vervolgens boven 1 rcf 8003as en nu boven de dva s09 subwoofer van db technologies.
de laatste 2 kunnen ze maar net bijhouden, met 2 van die subwoofers denk ik dat je hoog te kort komt, al zijn die subwoofers ook uit een duurdere serie, en daarom is dat ook appels met peren vergelijken.
verder klinken ze heel goed, en zien er netjes uit.
Alleen de lak krast snel, daarom 4 sterren.
Ik heb ze zelf boven mijn twee sub15d's en dat is een SUPER combinatie.
De topjes zijn zeer krachtig en hebben een mooie sound als ik de subs op maximum heb krijgen de tops amper signaal en zijn daarom uitermate geschikt voor zangtoepassingen.

- komen snel krasjes en dergelijke op maar daar staan de sub 15d's ook om bekend. Maar wederom kun je er prima hoezen voor kopen en dan zul je er met nette omgang niet snel krassen op zien.

Mooie, krachtige en lichte topjes lekker compact en zeer geschikt voor zangtoepassingen.
