General

With the Europa 11, GEWA offers a serious study violin that is stage-ready. This 4/4-size violin features an all-solid construction with a spruce top and beautifully grained solid maple sides and back, resulting in a bright foundation sound accompanied by a mass of volume. It's covered in a brown, satin-gloss finish and comes complete with a pre-shaped case with detachable shoulder straps, a bow and rosin.

Europa 11: Quality Components

As the name suggests, this GEWA violin has been built in Europe and thus reaps of the benefits of age-old traditions and craftsmanship. This is shown clearly by the high quality components used to shape both the sound and playing comfort of the Europa 11. The fretboard is made of ebony for a comfortable playing surface and this model features Larsen Virtuose strings, which have a little less tension than regular strings for enhanced expression. What's more, the bow features natural horse hair for an authentic response.
