General

Offering way more for much less, the Sigma Guitars GJM-SGE electro-acoustic guitar has an elegant grand jumbo body, the lush sound of a solid spruce soundboard and comes fitted with a stage-ready preamp system. The neck, back and sides of this model have been made from mahogany to complete full and dynamic tonality, and since the neck has been given a thin coat of satin-gloss lacquer, the playability of the GJM-SGE feels smooth and nimble, all the way up to the twentieth fret. Solid intonation, tuning and sustain is assured by a bone nut and saddle and a reliable set of self-lubricating machine heads. Plug it in, and the amplified sound of the built-in piezo pickup can be moulded to shaped via the tone and volume controls on the side panel - which even features an integrated tuner.

Sigma Guitars GJM-SGE Electro-Acoustic Guitar
Wrote the following about Sigma Guitars GJM-SGE Electro-Acoustic Guitar
A very nice guitar, only needed a slight tweak for the action but otherwise played very well straight out of the box.
For fingerpicking, it sounds beautifully warm, most fingerpickers seem to prefer brighter more articulate guitars so may not appeal to them but I love the tone for this style of playing.
It does get brighter when strumming out chords however, with a nice resonant tone that really comes alive.
As an ex-guitar salesman myself, I know many people are attracted to smaller guitars but they often sound weak and tinny, I would advise on getting a larger body for a fuller warmer sound.
There is no upper strap pin so you will need to tie the end of the strap to the headstock behind the nut, but I don't mind that.
All in all, a good buy and I'm very happy with mine
