An ultra-modern yet affordable instrument, this Ibanez Advanced Acoustic Series offering shapes clear and defined acoustic sound, bears comfy, ergonomic playability, and has a solid, trustworthy build. Following decades spent building traditional steel-string acoustics, Ibanez have a developed the larger-than-average Grand Dreadnought body of the AAD50, boosting the tonal richness as well as the volume and presence. This foundation is further enhanced by the sparkling edge added by the solid spruce soundboard and the sonic punch of the sapele back and sides.
The Ibanez AAD50: Contemporary Comfort
In terms of playability, the Ibanez AAD50 acoustic guitar offers the combined comfort of an okoume neck finished with a special AAD profile and the flat 15.75 inch radius of the purpleheart fretboard. This has a light and snug feel in the fret hand whether grabbing chords or notes, while the Grand Dreadnought body has an immediately secure playing feel. All wrapped in natural high-gloss, this model has a refreshing, contemporary look and sound, and it all comes at a more-than-reasonable price.
